Refund & Exchange Policy
Every premade cover on DesignDusk is sold once, then permanently retired from the store — this is what makes each design genuinely exclusive to the buyer who purchases it. Custom cover packages are a made-to-order design service. Because of this, purchases are generally treated as final sale once a cover has been purchased and personalized, except in the specific situations described below.
Before your files are delivered
If you need to cancel or change your order before your files have been finished and delivered, contact us as soon as possible at support@designdusk.com. Requests made before delivery are reviewed on a case-by-case basis; approval isn’t guaranteed.
Mistakes on our side
If your delivered files contain an error on our part — for example a misspelled title, an incorrect author name, or a detail that doesn’t match what you provided — we will correct it at no additional charge. This is different from requesting a new creative or design change, which is covered separately by our “Extra design change request” add-on.
After your files are delivered
Once your final files have been delivered, refunds are rare and are only considered for serious issues, such as:
- your files never arrived (non-delivery),
- you were charged more than once for the same order (duplicate charge),
- your files are corrupted or genuinely unusable, or
- a problem with your order that we are unable to reasonably fix.
Simply changing your mind after receiving your files is not covered and is generally not refundable, since your cover has already been personalized and permanently retired from sale. Each case is reviewed individually — contact us and we’ll look into it.
Refunded or cancelled premade covers
If a premade cover is refunded or cancelled before it reaches a customer, it may be returned to the store and made available for sale again.
How to request a refund or exchange
Reply to your order confirmation email, or email support@designdusk.com with your order number, and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
